At KLW Belts, every handmade belt is crafted from full-grain leather right here in Kentucky, and we want yours to fit as well as it looks. The easiest way to find your ideal full-grain leather belt size is to measure a belt you already own and love the fit of.
Lay your best-fitting belt flat and measure from the inside edge of the buckle fold to the hole you use most often. That measurement, in inches, is your ideal KLW full-grain leather belt size.
For example: If that measurement is 36 inches, you would order a size 36 KLW belt.
Quick Fit: If you don’t have a belt on hand to measure, a good rule of thumb for finding your full-grain leather belt size is to order 2 inches larger than your waist size. For example, if you typically wear a 32″ pant, a 34″ full-grain leather belt is generally the best starting point.
Remember: Pant size and belt size are not the same. Your KLW full-grain leather belt size refers to the measurement from the buckle fold to the center hole — not the overall length of the belt.
Finding the Right Size for a Women's Full-Grain Leather Belt
Women’s full-grain leather belts can be worn at the waist or hips, so the best size depends on where you plan to wear the belt.
For the most accurate fit, use a soft measuring tape to measure around your waist or hips where the belt will sit, ideally over the clothing you plan to wear with it. Add approximately 2–3 inches to that measurement to determine your full-grain leather belt size.
Still not sure? We’re happy to help you find the right size for your full-grain leather belt. After all, every KLW belt is handcrafted with care from full-grain leather, and we want yours to fit just right.
